With a passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their best selves, I am a NASM-certified personal trainer dedicated to guiding individuals on their journey to strength, endurance, and overall wellness. Whether you are looking to build muscle, lose weight, improve mobility, or enhance athletic performance, my tailored training programs will help you reach your goals efficiently and safely.

My Journey
My passion for movement began at just 3 years old when I started dance classes. I continued dancing through age 18, graduating in 1979—just as the fitness aerobics movement was taking off. I naturally transitioned into becoming one of the early aerobic instructors, dedicating my life to helping others improve their health through movement.
In 1985, I faced a life-threatening challenge: a collapsed lung. But just six weeks after surgery, I returned to teaching with even more determination. Then, in 1991—while still training and raising two children—I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. After undergoing surgery, I was told I might never have more children. But by the grace of God, I defied the odds and gave birth to three more children in 1993, 1996, and 1998.
After over 20 years in aerobic fitness, I discovered a new passion in 1999: weightlifting. I spent the next eight years training in both disciplines. In 2006, I earned my certification as a personal trainer. The following year, at age 44—when many women were stepping away from competition—I chose to step on stage for my first NPC figure competition. I didn’t win that first show, but I wasn’t discouraged. I knew my journey had just begun.
In 2010, I was diagnosed with spinal stenosis. I endured painful epidural treatments, but I never stopped training. My persistence paid off when I won my first national qualifier in 2012. Though I wasn’t ready at the time to move to the next level, I kept learning, kept training, and never gave up.
In 2024, I competed in my first national show with the goal of earning my pro card. To deepen my knowledge and better serve others in this demanding sport, I completed my NASM certification. That education opened my eyes to the depth of science, structure, and dedication needed to succeed in fitness at the highest level.
Today, I combine decades of real-world experience with advanced training and education to help others find their strength, purpose, and health—no matter where they are on their journey.
My Approach
I believe in a holistic approach to fitness that incorporates strength training, mobility work, and proper nutrition. By customizing workouts to fit each client’s unique needs, I ensure that every session is both effective and engaging. My goal is to not only help you transform your body but also to instill lasting habits that contribute to a healthier, more active lifestyle.
